Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill Durham

Lovely room and probably the best Sunday lunch in Durham. Pork, chicken and beef were really tasty, as was stuffing, potatoes, yorkshire pud, carrots, peas and cauliflower cheese. Great service too

It was lovely from start to finish, the restaurant is beautiful, the staff excellent and so friendly and pleasant and the afternoon tea, yummy. Lots of sandwhich choices, clotted cream fruit scone and petit fours. Absolutely lovely experience and it was an excellent gift for my birthday.

First time diners at Marco Pierre for 2 of our birthdays, and it was superb. The service from Chloe and at least 3 other people was top-notch. The food was so good, there wasn't one thing we didn't love. It is pricey, so it would be a treat and not a normal place to go, but it was well worth it.

I visited In January for the 50% off mains that was advertised through email from these scammers. Upon presentation of the bill steaks were apparently not included (in a steakhouse) Although staff agreed with my logic after being sent pictures of steaks and the small print not mentioning steaks being excluded only sharing steaks being excluded, I contacted Black and White hospitality as advised. Robyn the so called Marketing Director was slow to respond and clearly wasn't concerned with any customer service as I chased her for 4 weeks for responses, each time saying she would look into it. Eventually she agreed to have me revisit and grant me the offer I should have had in the first place. (even though I had already paid full price instead of half price) I could now pay half instead of full. As I'm a regular anyway we accepted and asked to arrange a table for the 19th Feb. 2 weeks have passed and no communication has returned, The restaurant have confirmed no reservation when I have called. Even after CC'ing other management in the emails nobody can even do the courtesy of replying. Out of principle I will not be visiting again **review updated. since then I was contacted by Rhiannon at the venue who arranged to make amends for this. Arranged complimentary drinks and half price food, service was top notch. Thanks to Hannah for looking after us. it takes courage to make amends when your higher management have let you down. Well done girls.

We popped in last week for lunch , as always everything was fabulous. The food, atmosphere, wine, gorgeous. Our server was Hannah who was an absolute delight. Many thanks for another 5 star lunch!

Firstly I would like to say a massive thank you to Jess. For incredible service over two nights. We initially came for dinner once but her knowledge of the food and wine menu brought us back again. Hannah the manager was also brilliant!

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to the Marco Pierre White Steakhouse in Durham. I went for a Sunday lunch and not only was the food great but the staff were fantastic also. They were very welcoming, friendly and attentive which isn't too common nowadays. The setting is lovely too. Well worth a visit and some deals can be had online :)
